Job role: Strategist / Planner
:To work under senior supervision on a select number of agency accounts.
:To support senior members of the planning team with additional client work and new business activities, delivering and managing the provision of research and insight across relevant markets, competitors and consumers
:To have a passion for and an appreciation of creative ideas in the marketing and business world. Especially digital.
:Use research and data to uncover insights that fuel inspiring briefs and ignite the creative process across all agency disciplines.
:Develop the ability to write inspiring creative briefs, give inspiring briefings and to work with creative (and senior planning) to ensure the ideas developed deliver on brief and strategy.
:Work within cross:functional teams e.g. CRM, Data, Comms, Brand, Digital to solve a clients marketing challenge.
:Learn how to develop effectiveness strategies to measure the value of our ideas and put in place the relevant reporting structures to be able to demonstrate this to clients.
:Conduct regular competitive audits and reviews relative to their account, with clear implications.
:Develop the ability to write presentations that tell strategic stories in compelling ways.
:Develop a good level of proficiency in commissioning, conducting (where appropriate) and interpreting mainstream qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
:Credibility and ability to engender trust with senior clients, and build enduring relationships
:A team catalyst, inspiring agency members and partners to work together on client business problems.
:Someone the creative department want to spend time with, whose opinion they value
:Ability to reduce complex problems into simple solutions.
:Effectively manage up to senior management, keeping them informed, and inspiring their confidence
If you are successful, youll be meeting and speaking to clients (existing and new). Youre not a diva : you get your hands dirty. Youll oversee campaigns, present creative work, help problem solve and ensure a smooth running of the creative process.

Were looking for someone that has 2:5 years of experience working at a marketing agency. You need to be a problem solver and a fast thinker. You must have experience : and preferably a passion for : B2B marketing. But most of all, a team player.
This is not a 9:5 role.
